About this tour
Set off from Marina da Quinta do Lorde for a four-hour private sailing experience aboard our Dufour 325 Grand Large. We hoist the sails along Madeira's most dramatic stretch of coastline, past the volcanic formations of Ponta de São Lourenço, with stops in sheltered coves where you can swim, snorkel or try our paddleboard in waters rated among the clearest in the archipelago. Where exactly we go depends on the wind and the day, that's the point. This is real sailing, not a fixed tourist route. Your skipper reads the conditions and chooses the best course for the experience. Choose your departure when you book: Morning (09:30) for a quieter start and the coast to ourselves, or Afternoon (14:30) for warmer water and softer light approaching the golden hour. Same boat, same route, same care, different rhythm of the day. On board: water, soft drinks, light snacks and a paddleboard for your enjoyment. Up to six guests, no strangers, your group books the whole boat.
